THE MISSION:

To create an environment that promotes and encourages a spirit of unity within the school family of parents, students, and school faculty and staff so that we invest together in growing the educational opportunities for our students.

HOW WE ACCOMPLISH OUR MISSION:

We supply teachers with items for their curriculum that enhance the teaching process.

PAST PURCHASES:

projectors, TVs, science equipment, lab supplies, document cameras for elementary, camera lenses for yearbook, dry erase boards, spelling games for elementary grades, teaching tools, learning rugs for K4 classes, dissection kits for high school, insect projects for kindergarten, field trip assistance, and more

The Calvary Parents Association Board

President Adrienne Lowery is in her sixth year serving on the board. She has two sons at Calvary, in fourth and 11th grades.
Yvonne Salsbury, treasurer, is in her first year serving on the board. She has two children at Calvary and her husband Travis is the maintenance manager for CCS.
Alex Cowell, vice president, has two children currently enrolled at Calvary. Her oldest son graduated in 2022 as salutatorian and now attends CCU.
Caroline Rohr has three girls at Calvary and also is on staff. She serves as the CPA-teacher liaison.
Stephanie Gonshor is in her first year serving on the board and joins the team as secretary. She has one son at Calvary who is in K4.

How You Can Help

Fall Festival

We are excited to announce that the 2023 Fall Festival raised more than $10,000! Thank you to everyone who supported this event, whether by being a sponsor, a vendor, a volunteer, or an attendee! The 2024 Fall Festival is set for Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Other events

The CPA also plans an online auction, a March Madness Coin Drive, Teacher Appreciation, and other events throughout the year to raise money. Parents’ help with any or all of these events is always greatly appreciated.

Buy gift cards, support Calvary!

Our SCRIP program offers you a chance to earn rewards toward your tuition, so it benefits YOU as well as Calvary Christian School. SCRIP is a service from which you buy gift cards and a percentage of each gift card comes back to you! Each participating retailer donates a percentage from 1 to 15 percent back on each gift card purchased.

To participate, log on to www.scripzone.com, click on new user, and set up an account. Our school ID code is 843650CCS. Now you are ready to place your order online. Choose to have your gift cards delivered to CCS to avoid shipping charges. You can also fill out an order form by clicking the link below and turning your order in to the front office.

You can also ask family and friends to participate. Everyone likes to keep gift cards on hand to use for birthdays, showers, anniversaries, etc. You can use them for groceries and gas, too! Anytime you want to purchase a gift card, use SCRIP so you get a percentage back to count toward your school tuition! You can also choose to have the percentage donated to the school.

Scan your receipts!

Calvary participates in the Box Tops for Education program. You can help by scanning your grocery receipts using the Box Tops app on your mobile device and directing your savings to Calvary Christian School. The program is phasing away from clipping physical box tops from products, so the best way to send your earnings to Calvary is by scanning your receipts within two weeks of purchase!

How Can You Participate?

  1. Make a purchase of qualifying school supplies at Office Depot or Office Max.
  2. Provide your school’s ID at

  3. Your designated school will receive 5 percent back in credits for FREE supplies!

PLAYGROUND UPGRADES

We are so appreciative of those who supported our efforts to raise money in 2019-2020 to fund new playground equipment, including this awesome new basketball court! A huge thank you to Mr. Huber and his engineering class, Brad Bosworth, Mr. Sammy Truett, and others for getting the hoops installed and the cement painted! The court opened to lots of happy children at the beginning of November 2020! Additional equipment was installed Summer 2021, including sod for a soccer field.

CLASSROOM EXPANSION

During the summer of 2021, we said goodbye to the attic above the lunchroom and watched as Bosworth Construction turned it into a science lab, two new classrooms, and a choir room! Thanks to the Capital Improvements Campaign that funded the project, we were able to accommodate student growth population by adding these spaces and a hallway of new lockers. Many high school classes now use these rooms, while junior high classes remain in the education building.
